This September we are initiating a new program for children ages 6-15. The "Colonial American Girls and Boys Programs"
is a series of programs that focuses on the lives of boys and girls among our regional frontier families in the 1700's.
What chores and work did these young persons do? What games they played and other special challenges
they faced during the wars and Indian raids is examined. Special emphasis will be placed on the fundamental skills they
learned about life, survival, growth as persons and how they were prepared to make their own contributions to the making of
a the new American nation.
